Spain AI Policy

Independent reading map

About

aipolicy.es is an independent, English-first reading map of Spain's AI policy landscape: AI Act implementation, AESIA, ALIA, public compute, frontier capability evidence, and safety governance.

Why It Exists

Spain is becoming one of Europe's implementation laboratories for AI governance, but the primary material is fragmented across laws, agency pages, EU portals, strategy documents, research benchmarks, and Spanish language public sources. This site gives policy staff, journalists, researchers, public servants, students, and civic builders a fast route into the source map.

Editorial Method

The site prioritizes primary and official sources, labels company claims, dates time-sensitive policy claims, and treats capability benchmarks as evidence signals rather than proof of general intelligence.

Independence

This is not an official site of the Spanish Government, the European Commission, AESIA, or any other institution. It is not legal advice, procurement advice, investment advice, or a complete database of record.

Disclosure Status

The formal publisher identity, conflicts-of-interest statement, and corrections contact should be completed in the Aviso Legal before broad public launch. The current public site intentionally avoids presenting an official or institutional identity.
